Semaglutide

What is it?

Semaglutide is one of the most famous peptides in the world — a GLP-1 that works with a natural gut hormone involved in appetite and blood sugar. Its popularity for weight and metabolic goals has made it a household name, and demand remains extremely high.

Why people choose it

  • One of the best-known metabolic peptides anywhere
  • Hugely popular for appetite and weight goals
  • Backed by a well-known GLP-1 mechanism
  • A trusted starting point in metabolic routines

What is it used for?

  • Appetite and weight goals
  • Blood sugar support
  • Metabolic health

How it works

Semaglutide mimics GLP-1, a natural gut hormone that helps signal fullness and steady blood sugar. That well-understood mechanism is a big reason for its enormous popularity.

Good to know

  • Part of the same metabolic family as Tirzepatide and Retatrutide.
  • One of the most searched-for peptides overall.
  • A common first step for metabolic goals.

  • Rotate sites systematically — abdomen (at least 5 cm from the navel), thighs and upper arms — to avoid lipohypertrophy.
  • Use a new sterile 28–31 G insulin syringe every time and dispose of it in a sharps container.

  • Vomiting
  • Diarrhoea
