DSIP

What is it?

DSIP (Delta Sleep-Inducing Peptide) is a naturally occurring peptide with a devoted following among people who value deep, quality sleep. As anyone who sleeps poorly knows, good rest changes everything — which is why DSIP has such a loyal fan base.

Why people choose it

  • A favourite for people who value great sleep
  • Associated with calm and relaxation
  • Supports the recovery that comes from good rest
  • A gentle, popular addition to an evening routine

What is it used for?

  • Sleep quality
  • Relaxation and stress
  • Recovery through rest

How it works

DSIP is named for its link to the deep, delta-wave stage of sleep, and it is discussed in relation to the body's rest and stress systems. Its sleep-first reputation is exactly what draws people to it.

Good to know

  • Often paired with Epithalon for a rest-and-recovery routine.
  • A natural fit alongside calming peptides like Selank.
  • Popular for anyone chasing better nights.

Technique

  • Clean the vial stopper and the skin with an alcohol swab and let both air-dry.
  • Pinch a skinfold and insert the needle at 45–90° into the subcutaneous tissue.
  • Do not aspirate for subcutaneous injections — inject slowly and steadily.
  • Wait 5–10 seconds before withdrawing, then apply gentle pressure. Do not rub the site.
  • Rotate sites systematically — abdomen (at least 5 cm from the navel), thighs and upper arms — to avoid lipohypertrophy.
  • Use a new sterile 28–31 G insulin syringe every time and dispose of it in a sharps container.

Safety & evidence

  • Step the dose up by about 50 mcg every one to two weeks as tolerated.
  • Generally well tolerated in human studies; occasional mild injection-site reactions.
  • Research indicates DSIP does not induce pharmacological tolerance with continued use.
  • Long-term safety data are limited — periodic breaks are recommended.
  • Formal human studies mostly used 300 mcg daily or less.
